Monument hut, lake Ohau, Otago.
Easy as trip. You can continue past this hut up the river bed to the red hut. Be warned there is a sizeable river crossing to get to the Red hut. As you can see this bike2bunk to Monument Hut is very easy. Any form of luggage can be used here. It gets harder past here to the Red hut.
And the Monument hut is in a great location with fab views down the valley
