Red Hills Hut, Nelson Lakes

This is a steep 4WD track to a nice new hut.  The views on the way there are great and if you fancy a loop you can use the ridge track to get to the Beebys Hut.  Or you can return the same way you go up.

It takes about 1 hour riding but if you have a heavy load it may take longer.  The terrain is easy 4WD track and is 100% ridable as long as you have good tyres and low gears.  Makes a good day ride.

Some flat dry areas near the hut if you want to camp.
