Top Hut
This is a challenge due to the elevation gain to the Omarama Saddle. Great views and if you want there is a higher route in past the little Omarama saddle. This has a max height of 1700 Meters above sea level.
to get to the start drive down broken hut road near Omarama, there is a park and a map at the end of the road.
The tracks are all old 4WD ones so panniers or even a trailer would be fine.
The hut at the time of my visit had two toilets, that's pretty posh. even if one was missing a door, good view. Plenty camping area around the hut also.
Past this hut you can come out at St Bathans via Boundry Creek hut and Homestead camping Site.
